Many thanks to all the donators who supported the Phuket Direct Fund with 338,902 CHF. To date 335,256 Swiss francs have been made available for direct emergency aid in Phuket and the surrounding area. Everywhere that the major aid organizations were unable to get to – or get to quickly enough – the Phuket Direct Fund helped local people to help themselves and supported a targeted group of projects for reconstruction and for the benefit of orphans and other children and young people in need.
