Project 8: Phuket International Woman’s Club (PIWC)
CHF 36,000
The Phuket International Woman’s Club (PIWC) is involved in training children and young people in need living in Phuket. The financial support currently covers more than 250 children and young people from kindergarten to university. The Phuket Direct Fund is paying for the complete education of four young people. The 36,000 Swiss francs that have been donated have been split as follows:
- THB 700,000 for a medicine student to finance his medical degree up to the examination.
- THB 100,000 each for two young girls to cover their schooling for four years.
- THB 100,000 for a young women to train as a nurse for four years.
