Medical support for Yordchai

The Phuket Direct Fund found out about Yordchai, a young man from Phuket, through one of its local representatives. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that required immediate chemotherapy. The necessary medical facilities, however, are only available in Bangkok or Hat Yai. Yordchai himself does not have the necessary funds.
Thanks to rapid assistance from the Phuket Direct Fund it was possible to contribute towards his 2-month stay in Hat Yai.
Unfortunately, Yordchai died in May 2008 as a result of his cancer. With our financial help he could spend his last days with medical support close to his family.

The Phuket Direct Fund also provided medical care for cancer patient Yordchai. This allowed Yordchai to spend the difficult days leading up to his death in the familiar and comforting surroundings of his own home.
