Phuket International Woman’s Club (PIWC)

In 2007 the Phuket Direct Fund also provided finance to six more students for their entire basic/vocational schooling because a good solid education lays the foundation for a secure existence.
CHF 37,400 was used as follows:
- THB 300,000 for three students who are completing a 4-year training program in the travel industry.
- THB 560,000 to a law student to finance the 5-year course and accommodation on campus.
- THB 60,000 to a 13-year-old pupil to allow him to complete the remaining 5 years of his high school education.
- THB 72,000 to a 14-year-old pupil to allow her to complete the remaining 6 years of her high school education.
