Lotus Flower Foundation – A Home for Children

The Lotus Flower Foundation was founded by Gabrielle von Reding. Through her Thai mother and Swiss father she has an insight into both cultures.
The idea behind the Lotus Flower Foundation is to provide a home for orphaned children. To this end and with the help of an extremely generous donation from a Thai family the Foundation acquired land in the Rangsit region near Bangkok.
In this peaceful location the children are educated using the Montessori approach and their medical needs are taken care of.
The aim is to begin building work on the orphanage as soon as possible.
The Phuket Direct Fund has made a donation of CHF 10,000 which will be used to build a dormitory for 5 children.
