Project 15: Education for seven students

The Phuket International Women's Club is helping to provide an education for seven students from poor families. The students attend various educational establishments, ranging from primary schools to university. They are given support for four to six years, providing they achieve the relevant standards at the end of each academic year. The grants received per student (which are mainly used for school uniforms, books, school fees, food and accommodation, etc.) range from THB 10,000 to THB 100,000 per academic year.
The Phuket International Women's Club regularly informs the Phuket Direct Fund of the progress of this education project and ensures that donations are used appropriately.
